E-mailprocedure : Verzoek commissievoorzitters Buitenlandse Zaken van de Baltische staten om een verklaring over Oekraïne te steunen.

Op onderstaande e-mailprocedure inzake het verzoek van de commissievoorzitters Buitenlandse Zaken van de Baltische staten om een verklaring over Oekraïne te steunen, is als volgt gereageerd:
 

• De fracties van VVD, D66, CDA en Volt steunen het verzoek;
• De fracties van SGP en FvD steunen het verzoek niet;
• Van de overige fracties is geen reactie ontvangen.

 
Daarmee is er geen meerderheid voor het verzoek. Uw commissievoorzitter zal de verklaring niet ondertekenen en het Estse parlement zal dienovereenkomstig worden geïnformeerd.

Onderstaand treft u een verzoek van de voorzitters van de commissies Buitenlandse Zaken van Estland, Letland en Litouwen inzake een verklaring over Oekraïne. De commissievoorzitters vragen de commissievoorzitters Buitenlandse Zaken van Europese parlementen om steun voor deze verklaring. Bijgaand vindt u de verklaring.
 
U wordt verzocht om, via ‘allen beantwoorden’, uiterlijk vrijdag 25 april om 10.00 uur aan te geven of u de commissievoorzitter wenst te mandateren om deze verklaring te ondertekenen.
 
Spoedig daarna zal ik u informeren over de uitkomst van deze e-mailprocedure.*

The Chairs of the Foreign Affairs Committees of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are kindly asking for the attention and support for the joint statement of the Chairs of the Foreign Affairs Committees of European parliaments, which is initiated together with the Ukrainian colleague Oleksandr Merezhko. This is a critical time to demonstrate clear and unequivocal support for Ukraine. If Ukraine falters and Russia wins the war or achieves its goals through aggression, the entire European continent will face a grave existential threat.
