Dear participant to the Interparliamentary Conference,

On behalf of the Public Expenditure Committee of the Dutch House of Representatives we would like to thank you for participating in the Interparliamentary Conference ‘Improving national accountability of EU funds’.

Attached to this e-mail is the Conference Statement as was agreed upon at the afternoon session of the Conference. This is a public statement and publicized on the website of the Dutch House of Representatives. We intend to cordially send this Statement to relevant EU institutions, to inform them about the results of the Conference. The Conference Statement has already been sent to the Chair of the Joint Committee on European Union Affairs (COSAC) with the aim to include the Statement as a basis for future COSAC discussions on the EU budget.
